Jim Richmond, a devoted Mokena resident for over two decades, boasts a rich history of community involvement. Having raised his family, coached youth sports, led Pack 39, achieved the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout, and managed his own small business in the area, Jim's roots run deep.
His aspirations extended to a Will County Board role, specifically in the 4th district. Jim envisions Will County as a shining example for Illinois, where constant improvement is the norm. He believes the county should attract and nurture small and medium-sized businesses, leveraging its strategic location to entice those looking to escape the burdens of Cook County and Illinois.
Jim's determination stems from firsthand observation of politicians prioritizing self-interest over citizen welfare, resulting in rising crime rates, inflation, and property taxes. With a proven track record in leadership roles and current local small business ownership, he's prepared to bring fiscal responsibility to the county board, shielding families from the financial strain caused by reckless government spending.
Jim is committed to putting the needs of the community first and is determined to make Will County an even better place to call home.
